John Naus MD – Board Certified in General Psychiatry

Dr. Naus started life in Texas, growing up in Fort Worth. After graduating from Nolan High School, he completed a four-year bachelor’s degree at the University of  Texas at Austin.  He was trained in medicine at the University of Texas, Health Science Center in San Antonio.  There, he completed four years of medical school, a one-year psychiatric internship, and a three-year psychiatric residency. Dr. Naus became Board Certified in General Psychiatry in 2009. Following the completion of his psychiatric training, he chose to return to DFW and begin a practice to work for the people who had given him so much growing up.

Since starting his outpatient practice of medicine in Bedford, Texas, at John Naus M.D., P.A. in August of 2009, he and his staff have been focused on treating a broad range of emotional pain and mental illness. John Naus M.D., P.A. has been a medical practice dedicated to the health and well-being of the community. Here, we accept a wide range of people as patients, offering solutions for those looking for help with mental wellness. We know that anyone can benefit from someone who cares and is available to listen.

John Naus M.D. P.A. is here to provide medication management to aid in relieving mental and emotional pain, but is meant to be a place for a person who feels they need a team approach, providing some answers and direction in treatment. The practice is now located in Colleyville, TX, where Dr. Naus and his family reside. He and his dedicated staff have built a psychiatric practice fostering realistic hope, with active and engaged treatment intent on relieving emotional suffering.
